It’s not every day we get to go on holiday. Most of the time, we’re sitting in our home offices, in our local cafes, or in our bathrooms, squeezing and swatching skincare. All the while wishing we were somewhere else. On a cabana in Tulum. Or a yacht in Puglia. We’re not fussy.
But you know what we love most about holidays? (Besides the cute AF bartenders and endless gelato flavours?) The holiday skin. So while we can’t just run away to Rome when we feel like it, we can bring the holiday skin home. Here’s how.
Staying poolside isn’t enough to achieve a holiday glow. Even serial suntanners know that. Keeping hydrated is the key — on the inside with water and on the outside with hydrating ingredients: hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, glycerin, and watermelon fruit extract are some of our favourites.
Water keeps your body refreshed, reduces skin dehydration and keeps you looking plump. Buh-bye scars, wrinkles, and fine lines. Keep your bottle handy and make sure to take generous sips of water in between spritzies.
PACK YOUR BAGS
We’re not just talking about your carry-on. Under-eye bags are a spoiler that you’re not getting enough sleep. And if you’ve ever slept in a hotel bed with the curtains drawn, you know it’s the best way to send your (under-eye) bags packing.
To get that well-rested holiday skin, start to prioritise your sleep schedule. Not only will it take care of your bags, but you’ll generally look more refreshed and radiant. Other ways we like to keep our face fresh and bag-free is through hydrating serums and regularly dunking our faces in ice baths. Because nothing says “I just got back from vacation” than looking well-rested.
USE HOLIDAY GLOW
It’s our secret to getting that holiday glow, even if you’ve used up all your annual leave or haven’t seen sunshine in days. Made with potent actives and botanical extracts, it’s a glow-inducing serum that’ll have people asking you when you got back from holiday.
Use Holiday Glow every morning for skin that’s glowier than a TikTok filter: cleanse, serum, moisturise, then finish SPF. It’s the only routine we follow on vacation.
